About me

Hi, all! And welcome to The Blonde Asian (TBA)! My name is Jess, a (mostly) stay at home mom (SAHM) to four littles and three fur babies living in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I began blogging in 2010 while I was working in the corporate world and in desperate need of a creative outlet. What started as a single girls’ baking blog evolved into what is now TBA, where I share style, beauty, fitness, and food, mixed in between all things mom life. Since becoming a SAHM, I’ve learned so much about myself and what fills my soul. That I always feel a little more like “myself” in a cute dress and a dash of makeup. That sweatin’ it out on a regular basis is something my mind and body need. And that one of my greatest joys is bringing my family together through food. Although not all of these may fill your cup, I hope something resonates. And that you’re able to snag that fun fashion find, or take on a new adventure in the kitchen. Leaving TBA feeling inspired and encouraged to fill your soul, in whatever way that means to you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for visiting and supporting TBA. I’m so excited to take on this crazy ride that we call life, together. Let’s get to it!
